Where: Illinois State University (Bone Student Center, Schroeder Hall)
This symposium is open to all Middle & Secondary Level History-Social
Science Educators, Community Educators, Pre-Service & Student Teachers.
Time: Registration (8:00-8:30 a.m.), Sessions (8:30-3:00 p.m.)
Cost: Teachers, $15. Students, $10. Registration fee includes boxed lunch.
-Teachers please note:
CPDHs provided. ROE 17 district teachers receive substitute reimbursement.
Inspired by the theme, 50-minute sessions will explore topics from across all
social science and history disciplines, including standards, skills &
strategies, content knowledge, assessment, inquiry, resources,
interdisciplinary & community collaborations, & more.
