The annual conference of the Illinois Sociological Association brings together like-minded individuals from across the state and region whose research, teaching, careers, and community engagement develops or applies the sociological perspective. Conference events include thematically organized research presentation sessions, special sessions, and workshops. The theme of this year's conference is "The Sociological Imagination: From Idea to Practice."
