CASA is a not-for-profit organization of community volunteers who advocate for child victims of abuse and neglect in Coles and Cumberland Counties. Kim Carmean will educate us on their background, and provide local, state, and national statistics. We’ll learn the difference between a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) and a Friend of the Court, and how CASA gets involved. Stories will be shared, along with current needs.
