Writing Your Life: The Craft of Memoir

Calling all writers! Past~Forward Memoir Writers and the Coles County Arts Council are pleased to host, “Writing Your Life: the Craft of Memoir,” presented by Letitia Moffitt (Sidewalk Dancing, Trace, Vibe/Synch and Bird People: A Memoir). The event will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10 am-2:30 pm in the Lone Elm Room of the Mattoon Train Depot. Lunch will be provided. No matter what your life or writing experiences are, structuring a memoir can be as challenging as it is satisfying. Various writing exercises during the workshop will help you discover different ways to tell your own story and develop skills to make these stories come alive on the page.
