CASA is a not-for-profit organization of community volunteers who advocate for child victims of abuse and neglect in Coles and Cumberland Counties. Jolenne Baker-Robison will teach participants about the program, provide an overview of the juvenile court system, and provide statistics about the impacts of trauma, addiction, and domestic abuse. Participants will learn the difference between a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) and a Friend of the Court, as well as how CASA gets involved. Stories will be shared, along with current needs.
