37th Annual History and Social Studies Teachers Conference Election 2016

Online Registration is no longer available. You are still welcome to attend the conference and can register and pay as a walk in on the third floor of the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union. The theme for this years History and Social Studies Conference is Election 2016, Current Events, & New Strategies for Middle and Secondary Social Studies. This year you will need to pick a workshop track. There are two track choices: Empowered Civics Workshop or Social Studies Strategies Sessions. All participants will attend the 8am keynote, and then they will choose between the strand of Empowered Civics workshops or a series of four breakout sessions on social studies strategies. EC is restricted to practicing classroom teachers.
