How did three women from Charleston, Illinois end up participating at the Illinois Snow Sculpting Competition in Rockford? Come hear their stories, see the tools they use, and learn how you can form a team and create your own sculpture in snow (not ice) in three and a half days! Or just come and live vicariously. Jessica Mertz, Shannon Johnson, and Jacqui Worden will share their tales, photos, tools, and secrets as members of Charleston’s own Ice Cubed (Ice to the Power of Three) snow sculpting team in 2018 and 2019 at the Illinois Snow Sculpting Competition sponsored by the Rockford Park District. Jacqui will also talk about being a free agent and forming new teams in 2020 and 2021.
