The spring conference of the Illinois Council for the Social Studies brings together social studies teachers, university faculty, library professionals, and those interested in the social studies for a day of professional development. Conference events include a keynote speaker and sessions that explore Social Studies teaching techniques, concerns, and opportunities. The theme of this year's conference is "Emerging Narratives and Technologies in Social Studies."
