The Charleston Fire Department is proud to welcome the Academy of Lifelong Learning to Charleston Fire Station 2. The goal is to provide a more in-depth conversation about what exactly firefighters and paramedics do for our community. Topics covered will include Firefighting, EMS, Rescue, Hazardous Material and Technical Rescue roles, as well as other roles they hold in the community. They will also be providing further education on prevention, and how to properly handle emergencies before help arrives.
