We are a nation of wanderers, seekers of new lands and opportunities - all of which can present a fascinating picture of your ancestors through their travels, adventures, triumphs and woes. In this three-session class, we will use the free website FAMILYSEARCH to explore the lives and travels of your family, finding official records and other documents to follow their paths through time. Sessions one and two will teach the basics of record location and online genealogy. Session 3 will also include related topics such as DNA testing, privacy and safety, and locating off-line source materials. Attendees will need a basic knowledge of computers and online searching. So come and join the millions of us researching our family trees, you may be surprised by what you find!
